Learning Life Skills through Improvisation

Handlery Hotel, 351 Geary St. (Union Square) San Francisco
Wednesday, May 14th from 6:30 – 9:00 pm

Does your life feel like a non-stop juggling act?

In response to stress research and statistics, Sue Walden, the Bay Area’s most experienced consultant in Applied Improvisation, will give you an exciting and power-packed hour-and-a-half hour session with five simple, effective tools to wipe out stress and live longer.

Living Life Lightly – 5 Tools to Wipe Out Stress

The fun and interactive program focuses on one major stress-creator: the Mind. Participants will…
  • Experience a challenging, yet fun, metaphor of our current go-go lives
  • Observe elements that can provoke stress and our habitual stress-management strategies
  • Identify skills, behaviors and attitudes that operate when we are calm
  • Learn 5 tools to instantly shift from stress to ease
Bottom line: we promise you will leave with tools you will retain,, plus easily pass along to your clients.

Bay Area Coach Mentor Calls

The four Bay Area ICF Chapters have come together to sponsor a Bay Area Mentor Coaching Call every quarter.  The chapters regularly receive requests from newer coaches for mentoring. For all newer coaches, this is an hour devoted solely to you and your concerns.  Here’s the scoop:

  • The purpose of the call is to ‘mentor’ newer coaches; i.e., answer questions and help navigate the sea of newness.
  • Each call features a seasoned coach, someone with years of experience who is making a living and a difference as a coach.
  • The format is pure Q & A, with newer coaches asking the questions, and the seasoned coach providing the answers.
  • Questions might include:  How important is a niche, how did you get started, how do I pick out a coaching school, and anything else you want to know.
  • The calls are recorded and put on the SF Coaches website in a password-protected area so you can hear them again and again. Access this area by clicking on “Member Sign In” in the lower right corner of any page.
  • The calls are held on the last Wednesday of the following months: January, April, July and October, from 12 – 1 PM Pacific Time.  The dial-in number is 712.945.1601, PIN: 806030.

You’re invited to join the calls and learn from those who’ve been there and done that ~ “see” you soon!

For members of SF Coaches, use the e-mail address that we have on file for you (likely the same one to which the chapter newsletter goes).  Please contact Alan Roby (alan@alanrobycoaching.com) to obtain your password or to verify the e-mail address.  For members of other Bay Area ICF chapters, please contact your chapter leadership for log-in instructions.
